ICAR-KVK Gonikoppal, Kodagu along with CHES Chettalli actively participated in the Silver Jubilee celebrations of ICAR-KVK, Shivamogga held from 26th to 28th April 2025. As part of the event, KVK stall was set up at the Fruit and Food Mela. The stall featured a wide range of horticultural technologies aimed at improving productivity, sustainability, and farmer livelihoods. Honourable Vice-Chancellor of the University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences (UAHS), Shri Jagadeesh appreciated the technologies and efforts made by the institute in the field of horticultural research and development and visited the stalls and interacted with the scientist.

Mr. Prabhakar, Head Incharge, Dr. Mohankumar from KVK, and Mr. Sreenath Mishra from CHES, Chettalli were present at the event. They provided detailed insights and explanations about the technologies on display to farmers, students, and other visitors, contributing to the outreach and knowledge dissemination goals of the institute. More than 500 farmers visited the KVK and CHES stall.
