In KVK farm we are Propagating nursery unit Where Black pepper cuttings (Arka Coorg Excel) and Arecanut seedlings(Theerthahally local) varieties were maintained . We are producing around 50000 planting material per year of both Black pepper and Arecanut. Arka Coorg Excel black pepper vatiety having a special characters like Regular bearer, more litre weight and more spike length compared to other pepper varieties. The planting material produced from the unit were distributed to the local farmers with nominal charges.
