Capacity development programme on Scientific Bee keeping on was conducted at ICAR-KVK, Gonikoppal for the benefit of Input Dealers of Kodagu District. Dr.R.N. Kenchareddy, Professor (Agri. Entomology). College of Forestry. Ponnampet highlights the importance of Honeybees in pollination, scientific bee keeping, and apiary management.

The lecture on Role of honeybees in pollination of Agricultural and Horticultural crops and demonstration of using native honeybees for pollination was conducted. A total of 40 Input Dealers of Kodagu District attended the programme.
